As several shows ready to shutter on Broadway in the upcoming weeks, Broadway.com asked which of the soon-to-close productions you'll miss the most. The results are in, and the starry revival of Promises, Promises landed in the top spot. The musical, which features Kristin Chenoweth and Sean Hayes, earned a strong 46% of votes. Promises, Promises will play its final performance at the Broadway Theatre on January 2, 2011.
Landing in secone place is long-running favorite In the Heights. The 2008 Tony winner for Best Musical took in 22% of votes. The show is set to close on January 9 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre with original star and composer Lin-Manuel Miranda returning to the role of Usnavi beginning December 25.
Readers are also sad to say goodbye to Next to Normal. The Pulitzer Prize-winning musical earned the third place spot with 13% of votes. Next to Normal is scheduled to vacate the Booth Theatre on January 16.
